You shouldn’t have to figure this out alone. Build an IEP that sets your child up to thrive—with a former special ed teacher and BCBA who knows the system inside out.
If you’ve ever sat in an IEP meeting feeling completely powerless—nodding along while educators use terms you don’t understand, wondering if they really understand your child’s autism, unsure if the behavior support plan will actually help your child succeed, leaving with a sinking feeling that the IEP isn’t strong enough—you’re not alone. Whether it’s your child’s first IEP or you’re facing the kindergarten transition, it’s terrifying when you don’t know if the plan will truly support your child’s needs.
My Unique Approach
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all IEPs or cold, clinical behavior plans. I take the time to understand what’s really happening beneath the surface—what’s driving the behavior, what’s breaking down, and what will actually help your child succeed.
I have the inside knowledge schools don’t always share. After 15 years as a preschool special education teacher, itinerant specialist, and BCBA, I know exactly what schools can offer—and what they don’t volunteer. I’ve written IEPs, taught self-contained special education, coached teachers, and pushed into general education preschool and kindergarten classrooms. I can tell you “Yes, you can ask for that” because I’ve implemented these supports myself.
I’m a BCBA who actually loves young kiddos.I built trusting relationships with autistic preschoolers and watched them develop cognitive flexibility through environmental design and positive reinforcement. Behavior isn’t about compliance—it’s about setting your child up for success. I see your child as a whole person, not a set of deficits to fix.
I help you navigate the system without burning bridges. Because I’ve been on the school side of the table, I know how to advocate effectively while maintaining a collaborative relationship with your child’s team. I teach you how to ask the right questions, request appropriate supports, and ensure your child gets what they truly need. You’ll walk into IEP meetings confident, informed, and ready to be the partner your child deserves.
How I Help:

- Parent Coaching & Strategy Sessions – One-on-one coaching to help you understand the IEP process, navigate the school system, and build confidence as your child’s advocate.
- Early Childhood Transition Planning – Specialized support for the preschool-to-kindergarten transition to ensure your child’s IEP is kindergarten-ready.
